Parents in Recovery is a peer-led initiative that aims to give voices to the experiences of parents with mental health and/or substance misuse issues. The goals of the project are to raise awareness, reduce stigma and isolation, and share lessons learned and resources. The video includes six parents reflecting on individual experiences of being a parent in recovery, stigma that they faced, ways that they were resilient, and strategies they used to maintain a positive relationship with their children.
