Join our new SERLC Committees!
We have new openings for committee membership!
All committees will be comprised of SERLC peer supporters and community members. They will have monthly consistent and structured hybrid meetings via Zoom or in-person at any of our 4 SERLC Recovery Connection Centers.
Committees meet Mondays at 11AM-12PM and use the same Zoom link.

SERLC COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COMMITTEE
The Community Engagement Committee meets on the 1st & 4th Monday of the month at 11AM-12PM

The Community Engagement Committee will plan events and activities to build collaborative relationships within the SERLC and surrounding areas to facilitate increased membership, satisfaction, and connection.

This committee will work to create an Opening Doors to the Arts (ODA) program in the Southeast area.

Members may participate in the welcoming of new members to the SERLC Recovery Connection Centers.
-
We are looking for people that have a desire to make the SERLC a more trauma-informed and engaged community.

SOUTHEAST RLC YOUNG ADULT ADVISORY COUNCIL
The Young Adult Advisory Council meets on the 2nd & 4th Monday of the month at 11AM-12PM
-
The Young Adult Advisory Council will serve as a safe and affirming space composed of Young Adults (ages 18-28) that will be involved in planning, implementing, and reflecting on meaningful projects that are youth-led, conceived and driven.
-
This committee will also serve as an advocacy group to voice the needs, desires and hopes for the Young Adults of the SERLC community.
-
This council will work to achieve sustainable dialogue and discourse so that the Young Adults in the SERLC feel respected, empowered, and informed.
SERLC DIVERSITY, EQUITY, & INCLUSION COMMITTEE
The DEI Committee meets on the 3rd & 4th Monday of the month at 11AM-12PM

The DEI Committee will work to identify the priorities, unmet needs and desires of marginalized populations that attend the RCCs, or would in the future.

The committee will organize inclusive activities in the SERLC Community to educate on anti-racism, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ experiences, racial equity, intersectionality, and other relevant topics.

Members will contribute fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to foster growth and adapt to our diverse community's needs, ensuring inclusivity and a welcoming environment for everyone.
